EC marking

Legislation states that if a function is not significantly altered or is not modified in a way that would increase the risk to the safety of users, EC marking can remain.
This is the case with DMI Compatible parts, and so their use does not affect the original EC marking of the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer).
 

ATEX conformity

Nothing in the European Directive prevents the use of non-OEM spare parts. Thus ATEX conformity is assured at all times.
Indeed, if these two Directives prohibited the use of Compatible Parts, this could be considered as unfair competition which is forbidden by European Legislation.

Counterfeiting ?

A counterfeit part is a part which bears a trademark or trade name without authorization, which intends to deceive, and which is identical to the original manufacturers.
D.M.I-EST : Our position on this is clear: the products we offer are COMPATIBLE products - they can be assembled on the spot without the need for any adaptation.
No logo other than that of D.M.I appears on the parts or their packaging.
 

Piracy ?

A pirated article is an article which is a copy or contains copies unauthorized by the holder of copyright, related rights (reproduction, distribution, etc.) or rights relating to the registered design or model. In general, piracy is the copying of intellectual property.
D.M.I-EST : Our products are manufactured with tools belonging partly or wholly to D.M.I-EST, to specialist factories which are part of the same group or to partners. Plans for the production of parts or tools are drawn up by D.M.I-EST or its partners. The quality of our products is comparable with that of the manufacturers.
